About
A consulting desk for the week between offer and signature
Devspherecloud exists for a narrow, high-stakes stretch of working life in Germany: the days when a salary conversation or an employment contract draft demands more attention than a hurried lunch-break skim.
Origin
The practice grew from repeated conversations with candidates in North Rhine-Westphalia who felt confident in the interview loop yet underprepared once the PDF arrived. Offer letters mixed English and German phrasing; contract annexes referenced works agreements nobody had explained; hiring managers expected a quick yes. Devspherecloud was shaped as a preparation desk — not a placement agency, not a law firm.
How we work
Every engagement begins with documents, not slogans. We read what you send, ask what was promised verbally, and design a session around the decision you must make that week. Sessions stay short on purpose: ninety minutes for salary negotiation preparation, seventy-five for contract review preparation, shorter when only an offer letter needs triage.
Lead consultant
Sessions are led by practitioners experienced in candidate-side preparation for German employment offers. We translate dense clause language into decision points, rehearse conversations in English as requested on this site, and stay clear about where independent legal advice is the wiser next step.
Values that show up in the room
- Specificity over cheerleading — we would rather name one awkward clause than praise a package you have not finished reading.
- Your voice, not ours — briefs are written so you can speak in your own register with the employer.
- Honest limits — we prepare questions and negotiation plans; we do not litigate, place candidates, or contact HR on your behalf.
Based in Werne
Video sessions reach clients across Germany. When schedules allow, in-person appointments take place in Werne, Nordrhein-Westfalen. The office address and phone appear unchanged on the contact page and in the site footer.
