Request this consultationWho this is for
Professionals who have received — or expect — a German employment offer and want a calm, concrete plan before discussing base salary, bonuses, or benefits. Common situations include first offers after a long search, internal promotions, and moves between Bundesländer with different cost-of-living pressures.
What you leave with
- A one-page negotiation brief covering your target range, walk-away line, and preferred phrasing
- Clarified trade-offs between cash, vacation days, remote days, and signing support
- A rehearsal of likely employer questions and pushback
- Notes on timing: when to respond in writing versus by call
Scope
Included: review of the written offer (or draft terms you share), a live 90-minute preparation session (video or in Werne by arrangement), and a follow-up email with your brief within two business days.
Not included: legal representation, collective bargaining on your behalf, or contacting the employer for you. We prepare you to speak for yourself.
How the session runs
- Intake — you send the offer letter or salary discussion notes at least 48 hours ahead.
- Context map — we locate the role, industry norms, and constraints visible in the paperwork.
- Range and language — we set a defendable range and draft opening lines that sound like you.
- Rehearsal — you practise the conversation once or twice with live feedback.
- Brief — you receive the written plan to take into the real discussion.
Duration and delivery
Sessions usually last 90 minutes. Delivery is by video across Germany, or in person at our Werne office when schedules allow. Rush slots within 72 hours of an acceptance deadline may be available when capacity permits.
Preparation on your side
Bring the offer or draft contract pages that mention compensation, working time, probation, and notice. Note any verbal promises made in interviews. If you have prior pay history you are willing to discuss, that helps us calibrate tone — it is never shared outside the session.
Pricing basis
From €290 for a standard preparation session. Complex multi-offer comparisons or dual-career household planning may be quoted separately after intake.
